Hurricane Ida
-Disaster Assistance Mission/Hurricane Ida-We have made a quick change to our original plan. We cannot get into the LaPlace area fast enough to get started cooking when we wanted so we have made arrangements to setup at the Chalmette Church of Christ in Chalmette LA.
We will have the cooking team setup by Thursday afternoon and start serving meals for lunch on Friday. Will post the menu later.
Volunteers will be needed to help box and deliver the meals to different locations. Please let everyone know that this will be our need starting Friday 8/3. If you are going to help or telling someone else about this they need to be at Chalmette CoC, 200 De La Ronde Dr by 9AM. We hope to serve 800-1000 meals per day.
